Clare JuppDirector of People Development
Clare’s background is actually in education: she is a qualified secondary Headteacher (NPQH) and worked in the state education sector for 16 years, eventually running her own Training School. She has a Degree in English and Media Studies and also holds a Masters Degree in Management. She has a vast amount of experience in training and development, coaching, mentoring and public speaking. Clare has been working in this sector for the last 10 years and during this time has built a ‘people development’ culture within Brightstar, leading the business to achieve 1st place in the “Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For in 2019”. Brightstar also secured the Best Companies 2019 highly coveted 3 star award (the highest possible) ‘for extraordinary levels of workplace engagement’.
Clare led Brightstar through the ‘Investors in People’ application process, achieving Gold status in 2015 and then the title of ‘Global Investor in People Gold business of the Year’ 2016-7. She has been instrumental in promoting and progressing the ‘Women in Finance’ campaign across the sector and has earned Brightstar the reputation of being a thought leader in this field as well as a being a trailblazing ‘people developer’ within the sector.

Michael PrimroseManaging Director
Michael Primrose is the Managing Director of The Property Finance Guy and The Property Finance Academy. At just 25 years old, he is one of the youngest owners of a Commercial Finance Brokerage in the UK, and with his previous experience as a Conveyancer and Estate Agent, this gives him a unique perspective of the Bridging and Development Finance Markets. With over £30 million pounds raised so far this year, Michael is hoping to break the £50 million pounds mark by the end of the year.

Mandy HicksonA Former RAF Fighter Pilot
Mandy is our Keynote speaker opening our conference a10:30am in the Precise Mortgages Conference theatre.
Mandy was one of the first female pilots to serve in a front line Tornado GR4 squadron, taking an active role in the Iraq conflict. In presentations she reveals the lessons learned, and how she had to react in the most high pressure environment of all - “I slammed my throttles forward, rolled the aircraft 120 degrees and pulled 4G towards the ground. That’s four times your bodyweight. The reason: a surface to air missile had been fired and we were its target.”
Emma BurkeDeal origination
Emma is a residential & commercial development finance specialist with a proven track record in building business relationships over the last 16 years in both the UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Maslow Capital, Emma was the Head of Origination for Octopus Property’s Development Finance Team. During her 3 years at Octopus, Emma was responsible for originating & structuring over £400m of development debt facilities and managing a team of 5 development finance specialists.
Prior to her role at Octopus, Emma was part of the Structured Property Finance team at Investec Private bank and was responsible for deal origination and the management of an existing portfolio. During her time at Investec, Emma structured development facilities for the construction of industrial units, hotels, residential development sites, large PRS schemes and serviced apartments. Emma holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) Degree from National University of Ireland, Galway.

Sky MapsonDeal origination
After graduating from Royal Holloway University of London in 2009, Sky joined RBS Global Banking and Markets where he worked as an analyst in various fixed income sales roles. He was principally involved in modelling and managing interest rate and inflation risk for UK public sector treasury bodies as well as formulating and marketing asset and liability matching derivative solutions to UK public sector pension schemes.
In the latter part of his time at RBS, Sky spent a significant proportion of his time modelling debt and derivative restructuring, this sparked an interest in the alternative funding sector and ultimately prompted his decision to join Maslow Capital in June 2012. Sky heads Maslow’s PBSA lending desk and is responsible for sourcing and structuring new lending transactions and presenting these to the credit and risk committee.

Lizzie LaneHead of Lending
Lizzie has 15 years’ experience in financial services, eight of which have been spent with the specialist lender Masthaven where she runs the bank’s short-term underwriting team. An expert in bridging and development finance, Lizzie joined Masthaven as an underwriter in its early beginnings and has seen it grow into the lender it is today. Before Masthaven, Lizzie was an underwriter for a packager covering bridging, development and commercial products catering for a panel of lenders and high street banks.

Jonathan Samuels has been a leading figure in the bridging industry since he launched Dragonfly Property Finance back in 2009. The company he created went on to fund more than £2bn and its sale is frequently cited as one of only a handful ever completed in the industry. This led to him receiving the Bridging & Commercial Award for 'Outstanding Contribution to Bridging 2015'. As Founder and CEO of Octane Capital, the UK’s first and only ‘product-less’ lender that prices according to risk rather than LTV, he is making an impact in the industry once again. Since launching in 2017, Octane has already loaned over £500m through its unique ‘#3rdgen’ lending model.

Sundeep PatelHead of London intermediaries
An award-winning mortgage expert, Sundeep joined Together earlier this year as the lender continued to boost its presence in central London.
He was national sales manager at Precise Mortgages for four years, having initially trained as a financial adviser at insurance firm Zurich.
Before joining Precise in 2015, he was mortgage operations manager for CMG Advice and a business development manager in the intermediary market for RBS.
As head of London intermediaries at Together, he has strengthened the lender’s presence in the capital, using a wealth of experience in the mortgage market to expand distribution of its specialist products to more intermediaries.
Sundeep has won a host of awards during his career, including being named business development manager of the year at the prestigious Legal & General Mortgage Club awards in 2018.

Jamie PritchardHead of Sales
Jamie has over 19 years’ industry experience covering multiple roles that include being a Mortgage Broker and leading a team of Business Development Managers, working for companies that include Standard Life and the Principality Building Society. In his role as Head of Sales at Precise Mortgages, leading the sales team Jamie uses his well-rounded knowledge and passion for specialist lending to help drive incremental business opportunities for intermediaries, helping them identify additional lending solutions for their customers in Buy to Let, Residential, Second Charge and Bridging.

Alice WilliamsHead of Property Finance
Alice began her career in the private banking sector before moving into the commercial brokering space with a keen focus on property finance.
Alice specilaises in structuring large scale, complex development deals, guiding clients through a project end to end with a catalogue of multifaceted completions under her belt.
After joining Pilot Fish in 2017 Alice has successfully grown the business’ property arm, increased sales and built a strong team of property finance experts.
Alice regularly appears as a guest speaker and advisor at property networks across the UK, she is a fantastic support to many first-time developers and well respected by those with more experience.

Vedrana Bilanovic RileyCEO
Vedrana is the founder and CEO of Ciel Capital, a principal, JV equity and asset management platform with a core focus on hotels. Vedrana also co-founded Stow-Away, a design led apart’hotel concept. The first Stow-Away opened in Lower Marsh, Waterloo in Q4 2018.
Vedrana covers a wide range of areas including Asset Management, Finance Structuring and Modelling, Fundraising and Legals.
Prior to Ciel, Vedrana was a Corporate Finance Manager at Pacific Investments and Managing Director of IPIN Global Capital and BridgePoint Ventures UK Ltd.
Vedrana graduated with a first class degree at the Sorbonne, Paris, followed by a Masters degree in London, where she got a distinction.
A French national who was born in the former Yugoslavia, Vedrana is fluent in five languages.

Ranjeev Kumar is a Partner in the Real Estate Group at Watson Farley & Williams, and responsible for the firm’s real estate finance offering.
Ranjeev advises on all types of domestic and cross-border real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, lettings, developments, financings, joint ventures, business mergers and acquisitions, and real estate funds formation.

Kris CornsOperations Director
Kris has held senior positions at Crystal Specialist Finance (CSF) since joining the business in 2007, since when the company has gone from strength-to-strength.
During his time CSF has firmly established itself as one if the biggest specialist finance firm’s in the UK with over 50 employees working across six core divisions incorporating Bridging, Buy to Let, Commercial, Development, Second Charge Loans and Specialist Residential.
Kris has played a major role in developing and extending CSF’s service offering, the growth of an established lender panel featuring exclusive and semi-exclusive products and the creation of several IT solutions for intermediaries and brokers. The hard work and diligence has resulted in several awards for the company from leading businesses and financial publications.
Before joining CSF, Kris gained important industry knowledge in residential mortgages and in sales roles. Outside of work he has recently completed a degree in Economics and Mathematical Science and enjoys many sports and mud running.

Naomi GreatorexProtection Director
Naomi started her career working in the corporate space of the Life Assurance sector in 2002, helping advisers understand the products available in the UK market.
In 2014 Naomi founded specialist brokerage Heath Protection Solutions, which offers Private Clients and Businesses whole of market advice on a full range of insurance solutions. In addition to running her own business Naomi has brought her deep understanding of the UK life assurance market to LDNfinance as Protection Director, where she supports their protection advice to mortgage clients.
Ambassador for the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Insuring Women’s Futures, Naomi works to raise awareness of the importance of protection products for women. Speaking at events in London on the importance of protection planning, such as ‘She’s on the Money’.
Awarded Woman of the year in Protection Advice Award in 2019, Naomi looks to continue raising the awareness of the need for Protection Advice by supporting the education of both brokers and clients.

Beth Fisher joined Medianett in 2014 after co-creating an award-winning B2B magazine as a journalism undergraduate. In just under six years, Beth has helped design and launch two online specialist finance publications and increase broker readership by more than 50% through the use of informative features, in-depth interviews and exclusive content.
Recently, she has been the face of Medianett’s filmed roundtable series, bringing together guests from all parts of the transaction chain to discuss niche areas of the bridging and development finance markets. In January 2019, Beth was integral in the launch of the brand new bi-monthly Bridging & Commercial Magazine, which has revolutionised how property finance brokers keep abreast of the industry’s zeitgeist.

Andy BishopUK Director Business Development for SME & Mid Corporate Banking
Andy Bishop is UK Director Business Development for SME & Mid Corporate Banking at Lloyds Bank. He has responsibility for the Commercial Banking Commercial Broker Channel strategy, proposition and delivery running a national team of Business Development Managers. Over the last 5 years the channel has grown significantly and working with commercial finance brokers is a key part of the strategy to help Britain Prosper. The proposition spans all forms of commercial lending, asset and invoice finance for businesses with T/O up to £100m, personal lending for HNW clients and accessibility to off-shore financing.

Caroline is Head of Commercial Mortgages at Aldermore after joining the Bank in 2011. She is responsible for new business generation, customer relations and service in addition to ensuring the Bank’s Commercial Mortgage proposition is continually reviewed and enhanced. Caroline has a career in banking spanning 25 years and has a passion for the commercial real estate sector. Caroline has recently overseen the expansion of the Commercial Mortgages team, the introduction of search insurance for commercial remortgages, the launch of VAT Loans and a new Commercial Mortgage Calculator for brokers as well as initiating several lending policy enhancements to support a larger proportion of the market.
