Getting there
Train & Tube
Olympia London is the only venue in London with a dedicated rail station, served by the London Overground and national rail networks. A further five Underground lines are connected; only a short walk away, so everyone can arrive together.
London Overground
Kensington (Olympia) is on the London Overground network.
It’s one stop from Shepherd’s Bush (Central line) or West Brompton (District line).
The venue is next to the station.
Piccadilly Line
Baron’s Court is a 9 minute walk away.
Hammersmith & City Line
Hammersmith Station is an 5 minute bus ride or 15 minute walk away.
Circle Line
Hammersmith Station is an 5 minute bus ride or 15 minute walk away.
High Street Kensington is a 4 minute bus ride or 12 minute walk away.
Central Line
Change at Shepherd’s Bush for a 2 minute Overground train to Kensington (Olympia).
District Line
Change at West Brompton for a 2 minute Overground train to Kensington (Olympia).
Alternatively West Kensington is an 8 minute walk away, and High Street Kensington is a 4 minute bus ride or 12 minute walk away.
There is also an occasional service from Earls Court on weekends, and for some major events. Please check before you travel.
Bus
The following buses all stop within very short walking distance of the venues.
9 – runs from Aldwych to Hammersmith (south) and Hammersmith to Aldwych (north). There is also a night bus route – N9.
10 – runs from Kings Cross to Hammersmith (south) and Hammersmith to Kings Cross (north). There is
also a night bus route – N10 – that extends to Richmond (south).
27 – runs from Chalk Farm to Turnham Green (south) and Turnham Green to Chalk Farm (north). This bus runs 24 hours a day.
28 – runs from Kensal Rise to Wandsworth (south) and Wandsworth to Kensal Rise (north). There is also a night bus route – N28 that extends to Camden Town (north).
49 – runs from White City to Clapham Junction (south) and Clapham Junction to White City (north). It stops on Holland Road and Olympia is just around the corner.
391 – runs from Fulham to Richmond (south) and Richmond to Fulham (north). It stops at the top of North End Road, opposite the venues.
Car
It’s quicker and easier to travel to the venues by public transport, but we realise that sometimes you’ve just got to drive.

From M1/A1/M11/A10 take the A406 westbound to A4. Continue on A4 over Hammersmith Flyover, turn left onto the B317 (North End Road) and follow signs.
From M4/A4 follow directions as above.
From A3/M3 follow signs for central London, take Wandsworth or Putney Bridges.
From Wandsworth Bridge, turn left onto New Kings Road, turn right onto Fulham High Street, which becomes Fulham Palace Road. At Hammersmith roundabout turn right onto Hammersmith Road and follow signs.
From Putney Bridge, turn left onto Fulham Palace Road and follow directions as above.
From M2/M20/A2 follow signs to central London, take Blackfriars, London, Waterloo, Vauxhall, Southwark, Chelsea or Battersea Bridges, turn left along Embankment and follow signs.
From A12/A13 follow signs for central London towards Tower or London Bridge. Do not cross bridge, instead continue along Embankment and follow signs.
Cycling
Cycling is a great way to get to the venues at Olympia, London.

There are bike racks outside Olympia National on Hammersmith Road, and outside the Pillar Hall, on Olympia Way.
International
Olympia, London venues can be easily reached from all four London airports.
Heathrow
Piccadilly line to Hammersmith. Olympia is a 5 minute bus ride, or 12 minute walk away.
Heathrow Express train to Paddington. Then go to Hammersmith, using the Circle or Hammersmith & City line.
Gatwick
Gatwick Express to Clapham Junction. Then change onto a direct train to Kensington (Olympia).
Stansted
Stansted Express to Liverpool Street. Then change onto the Central line for Shepherd’s Bush, and take the train one stop to Kensington (Olympia).
City Airport
Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Bank. Change onto the Central line for Shepherd’s Bush, and take the train one stop to Kensington (Olympia).
Luton Airport
Take a train from Luton Airport to St Pancras. Change onto the Victoria line for Oxford Circus. Then change onto the Central line for Shepherd’s Bush, and take the train one stop to Kensington (Olympia).

It’s quicker and safer to pre-book a taxi, or use a black cab.

Stay safe at night…
Any minicab journey that has not been pre-booked is illegal, uninsured and unsafe. It is a criminal offence for drivers to carry out a journey that has not been booked through a licensed operator.
Booking guarantees that your trip will be carried out by a licensed driver in a licensed vehicle. It also means that a record will be kept of your journey, your driver and the vehicle used. In the event of any problems, the driver can be traced.
Only licensed taxis (black cabs) can be hailed in the street or picked up at a rank without a booking.
Coach
National Express
National Express offer round the clock services into the centre of London. There’s over 1,000 departure points across the UK.
You’ll arrive at London Victoria Coach station. Then simply hop on the District Line to West Brompton, and Kensington (Olympia) is one stop away on London Overground.
It’s easy, affordable and more environmentally friendly than driving alone.
