Medianett Publishing is once again collaborating with Knowledge Bank to bring live criteria clinics to this year’s Finance Professional Show on 21st November at Olympia London.
The partnership will see Knowledge Bank’s founder and CEO Nicola Firth moderate a series of interactive, in-person sessions that tackle questions and offer solutions around specific finance products.
For the first time, this year there will be two bridging panels, one focusing on heavy refurb and one on light refurb.
This is due to strong demand from last year’s FP Show attendees.
The panels will be held throughout the day in the conference theatre and will cover several areas of specialist finance, including bridging, commercial mortgages, development finance, and BTL.
Brokers will get the chance to ask the panel questions and vote in live, interactive polls to get a good feel of market sentiment.
A full programme — including details of the panellists involved — will be published on B&C in the coming weeks.
Last year’s live criteria clinics covered several pressing topics, with panellists identifying semi-commercial and mixed-use properties as key growth areas in commercial mortgages, and ground-up residential developments as a major driver of broker inquiries.
The most popular conference sessions in 2024 were on bridging lending, commercial mortgages, and development finance, with 82% of delegates stating they agreed or strongly agreed that the panels last year had a good range and calibre of speakers.
It is expected that all sessions will be oversubscribed again this year, and therefore we advise delegates to register and turn up early to get a seat.
Nicola Firth, founder and CEO of Knowledge Bank, commented: “I’m excited to be presenting the Criteria Clinics Live for the fourth consecutive year at the FP Show.
“It’s always a privilege to be part of such a key event for the industry and the growing audience year on year reflects just how valuable these live sessions are to brokers navigating today’s complex market.
“This year, we’ll be tackling some of the most critical subjects in the areas of buy to let, heavy and light bridging, commercial and development finance.
“Expect expert insight, brokers’ cases placed live with lenders and plenty of takeaways to help you better understand lender’s criteria.
“It’s always a highlight to take the stage and help bring clarity to the complex world of specialist lending.
“We’re proud to be part of this fantastic event again, continuing to support advisers with real-time insights and practical criteria knowledge.”
“We’re thrilled to partner again with Knowledge Bank at the FP Show 2025 and introduce two bridging panels, focusing on light and heavy refurb — topics that brokers have been calling out for,” said Beth Fisher, managing director at Medianett Publishing.
“These additions reflect the real-time needs of the market, and we’re proud to create a conference theatre line-up where experts can dive deep into the nuances of complex specialist property finance.
“The appetite for practical insight is stronger than ever, and we’re confident these panels will be a standout feature of this year’s FP Show.”
